I came across this quote in one of my Realtor related emails today from My former RE/MAX Broker....

For some reason it garnered more of my attention than anything else in the message... It's impact on my thinking leading me to the preponderance of it's meaning in this Post..

Certainly I agree that it is not only possible to change our thoughts but in so doing we also change the world around us for better or worse...

What I also know to be fact is that there is Nothing we can say or do to change the thoughts of another person leading me to the realization that I am the captain of my own ship, sailing through life and allowing within my mind what I alone choose to allow and thus how I react to it.......

Seems there are many giants in the land ...... attempting to trample asunder those they deem as smaller than themselves......

For those of you whom might also be facing these monsters in the night......

Hold Fast to your thoughts...stay the course......even if you had previously failed and ''shrieked' at their ugliness as they creep in the dark ..... KNOW that it is a trap you need never fall into again......

Hebrews 4:12

Fill your mind continually with the Word of God and in times of trouble it will be your shield.....

Romans 12:2... "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Because of my strong Christian principles and my refusal to accept the political ideologies posed to me in the political groups of Active Rain I received this comment on MY post in response to my making it very clear I only care about the Word of God and do NOT give a Hoot about politics... I only care about taking care of people....even if that means paying higher taxes for Health Care Reform..........

Linda, your thinking is so wrong and so irresponsible that frankly you should be ashamed of yourself for voting. People like you should not be allowed to vote. That's why I would love to see everyone who wants to vote be forced to pass a test first. You basically advocate anyone taking away my possessions (money) and my freedom to do whatever you define as "good" You are crazy and not really worth debating because of that. I thought I was talking to a relatively sane person able to hold a reasonable dialog. I obviously was wrong and regret wasting my time.

I take your words as a compliment to my strength in character for what I believe in...

Nothing in my body, mind, spirit and soul will ever take precedence over the Word of God.

You are 100% correct in your assessment that I do indeed advocate people paying higher taxes to take care of the needs of others....

People, are , and always will be more important than Anyones money.....

Christan's fight the good fight, be Strong and steadfast in the Word of God, at all cost.... many will attempt to confound you, confuse you, ridicule you BUT Know this....

"Spiritual wickedness in High places"

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, EPH 6:12.

I would like to focus on "spiritual wickedness in high places"

Do you realize there are backslidden, ignorant, Christians walking in the "flesh" who are sending out spiritual wickeness into high places ?

They wade through scripture with scissors in hand perverting the Gospel of Christ...

Some "Christians" ignorantly use "for there is therefore now no more condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus BUT they fail to acknowledge the complete scripture..... "Who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit"

They run rampart in their unruly ways believing Falsely that they sin Not against God.....

FOOLS they are...Wolves in sheeps clothing leading the Sheep astray....

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The whole verse is cited, with the phrase in question, by Theodoret (466 AD), Ps-Oecumenius (tenth century), and Theophylact (1077 AD). We also have partial citation of the verse by Basil (379 AD). He writes: "Unhappy man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I give thanks to God through Jesus Christ, our Lord." Further on, he adds: "There is now, therefore, no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh."

As Opposed to:

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).

Now I don't know about you BUT my Bible states in....

Revelation 22:19 (King James)

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I have NO clue why ANYONE in the past 15 to 39 years felt the need to change God's word... and I do NOT care ! In this situation I take the High road...believing that if I allow myself to walk in the "flesh" and Not the "spirit"..even though I am a Christian I am exposing myself to the Judgement of God in a very unfavorable light.... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE....The ONLY words I wish to hear when standing naked before my Father is "well done my good and faithful servant,,,,enter now into the Joy of the Lord"

Getting back to "spiritual wickedness in high places"...

AGAIN... there are those who attempt to send out "prayers" against a Child of God...I awoke this morning to discern the "spiritual" battle taking place in the "heavenly places"..

God has given his Warring Angels charge Over me and this time it was not I who awoke and hit the floor in intercesstion but I who witnessed my Angels presiding over my rooftop GIANTS in the Full armor of God with swords drawn and HUGE sheilds in front of them and as the ememy approached ..upon seeing God's MIGHTY warriors they turned in retreat without a word...

CHRISTIANS WHO CROSS THE LINE
